Hi there. My name is Joanna Snawder-Manzo and I love wine. I love all wine. Red. White. Rosé. Bubbles. All of it.
So why read what I have to say about it? I love wine and therefore I drink it. A lot. I read about it. I go to tastings. I think about wine. I talk about wine. I ask questions about wine. Additionally I pursued some studious endeavors on the matter and became a CSW (Certified Specialist of Wine), as deemed by The Society Of Wine Educators.
Tip: Learning about wine involves tasting lots of wine.
Presently employed in Higher Ed, way back when, I worked in fine dining, where I became enthralled with wine. I am a Kentucky native who has lived in these wine abundant places: Oakland, CA, Berkley, CA, Denver, CO, Chicago, IL and now reside on The Monterey Peninsula with my partner Gabe. He likes to take photos on our wine trips with his fancy camera. I like it also.
What will you find on this blog?
I am posting about my experiences with wine. The wine I drink at home, out and about and certainly any visits to tasting rooms or wine tastings. Lately I have been more focused on natural wine, or minimal intervention wine. It just feels better, in all the ways.
